Every country’s growth depends on many factors and one of them is how much the youth contributes to its growth. India has the highest population in the world but we also have an upper hand here that we are the youngest country in the world. The average age of India is 28 years, where India has 50% of its population below the age of 25 and 65% below the age of 35. This power of youth should be utilized properly by giving them the right direction and training.
Here ISKCON Youth Forum (IYF) playing its role appropriately by facilitating youths. IYF is the youth wing of ISKCON started under the visionary guidance of HG Sundar Gopal Prabhuji chairman of ISKCON INDIA YOUTH COUNCIL (IIYC).
Today’s Youth is the Leader of tomorrow, and when this youth is responsible, visionary, and knows his cultural, moral, and ethical values connected with its roots then only India can lead the whole world. Here, IYF Bareilly provides Vedic Education which represents our rich heritage blended with modern education. This also follows the vision of India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi when he said “He wants Indian youth with scriptures in one hand and laptop in other.” People don’t remember leaders who impressed them but they remember leaders who have impacted them. A Leader should know how to deal with temptations, should be sensible when dealing with people, be duty-bound, not desire-bound, principle-oriented not pleasure-oriented, and be a good character person who could be a role model for society. These are some qualities that IYF cultivates in the life of Youths.
ISKCON at its core is an institution that promotes pure devotional service towards Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
